Random password generator
Create strong random passwords with numbers, letters, symbols, custom length, and quick copy controls.
Why random passwords are stronger
Random passwords are difficult to guess because they do not follow normal words, names, dates, or keyboard patterns. A password such as a family name plus a number can be guessed quickly. A long random password with mixed characters gives attackers far less structure to work with.
Recommended settings
- Use at least 16 characters for most accounts.
- Use 20 or more characters for financial, email, admin, and recovery accounts.
- Include numbers and symbols when the website allows them.
- Use a different password for every account.
Numbers only, text only, or symbols?
Some systems limit what you can enter. PassBlend includes simple presets for numbers only, text only, text plus numbers, and everything. Use the strongest option accepted by the service you are signing into.
Custom length
Use short codes only when required. For normal accounts, longer is better.
Mixed characters
Combine uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols for a larger character pool.
Local generation

Random password FAQ
How long should a random password be?
For most accounts, 16 to 24 characters is a practical range. Higher-value accounts can use longer passwords if the site allows them.
Should I memorize random passwords?
Usually no. Random passwords are best stored in a password manager. Use phrase mode when you need something easier to type from memory.
